Local-First Tax Record Organization

Taxstack is a lightweight, privacy-focused tax recordkeeping and financial organization utility developed under the HXT Stack Tools product line.

The application is designed to operate primarily on your device as a Progressive Web App. Your recorded income, expenses, categories, notes, imported documents, receipts, and locally created reports may be stored within your browser using technologies such as IndexedDB.

Taxstack does not require a user account, email address, phone number, or recurring subscription.

Taxstack is intended to help users organize financial information. It is not an official tax-filing service, accounting platform, payroll system, or substitute for professional tax advice.

Privacy by Design

Taxstack is designed around a local-first architecture.

This means:

• Your Taxstack records are not automatically uploaded to HXT Images.

• Your financial activity is not connected to a required personal account.

• Your income, expenses, categories, notes, and settings remain within your browser’s local storage.

• Taxstack does not require advertising networks or behavioral tracking systems to perform its core functions.

• HXT Images cannot remotely view, restore, edit, or manage records stored in your local Taxstack library.

• Taxstack does not automatically transmit your records to the IRS, state tax authorities, banks, employers, accountants, or tax-preparation companies.

No software can be guaranteed to be completely risk-free. Taxstack is provided as a practical, independently developed utility and should be used with appropriate care.

Optional Development Support

Taxstack may include an optional link allowing users to support continued development.

Any contribution is voluntary and is not required to access the application’s core organizational features. When an external payment provider such as Stripe is used, the payment transaction is handled through that provider’s checkout environment. Taxstack does not intentionally provide Stripe with access to your locally stored income records, expenses, receipts, tax documents, reports, or financial history. External payment services remain subject to their own privacy policies, terms, security practices, and data-processing procedures.

Local Storage and Data-Loss Warning

Because Taxstack stores information locally, your records may be affected by changes made to your browser, device, or installed application.

Your Taxstack library may be permanently deleted if you:

• Clear your browser’s site data, cookies, cache, or local storage.

• Use storage-cleaning or system-optimization software.

• Reset or reinstall your browser.

• Delete the installed Progressive Web App.

• Remove Taxstack’s stored application data or browser permissions.

• Lose, damage, reset, or replace your device.

• Use a browser mode that does not preserve local data.

• Encounter browser, operating-system, storage, or hardware failure.

• Experience a failed browser or application update.

• Uninstall Taxstack without first exporting your records.

HXT Images does not maintain a cloud backup of your Taxstack library and cannot recover records deleted from your device.

Keep Your Original Financial Documents

Taxstack should not be treated as the only permanent storage location for important tax or financial records.

Always maintain independent copies of your original documents, including:

• Tax forms.

• Receipts.

• Invoices.

• Bank statements.

• Payment records.

• Mileage logs.

• Contractor records.

• Business expense documentation.

• Prior tax returns.

• Government correspondence.

• Documents provided by employers, clients, financial institutions, or tax professionals.

Store backups in a secure location, such as:

• Your computer’s protected document folder.

• An encrypted external drive.

• A trusted cloud-storage provider.

• Another secure backup system under your control.

• A physical filing system for essential paper records.

When export features are available, regularly export your Taxstack records and confirm that the exported files open correctly.

Do not destroy original tax documents solely because information has been entered into Taxstack.

Taxstack is an organizational and recordkeeping utility.

Taxstack does not provide:

• Tax advice.

• Legal advice.

• Accounting advice.

• Financial planning.

• Investment advice.

• Audit representation.

• Tax-return preparation.

• Tax-return filing.

• Payroll processing.

• Bookkeeping certification.

• Eligibility determinations for deductions, credits, exemptions, or business expenses.

Taxstack does not calculate or guarantee your final tax liability, refund, filing status, deduction eligibility, estimated tax requirement, or compliance with federal, state, local, or international tax law.

Information entered into Taxstack may be incomplete, inaccurate, incorrectly categorized, outdated, or unsuitable for tax reporting.

You are responsible for reviewing your records and verifying all information before using it for any financial, accounting, legal, or tax-related purpose.

No Government Affiliation

Taxstack is independently developed software.

Taxstack is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to:

• The Internal Revenue Service.

• The United States Department of the Treasury.

• Any state or local tax authority.

• Any foreign tax authority.

• Any tax-preparation company.

• Any accounting firm.

• Any bank or financial institution.

• Any government agency.

Taxstack does not directly submit tax returns, payments, elections, registrations, or official forms to government authorities unless such a feature is expressly provided and clearly identified in an official release.

Users should confirm filing deadlines, tax rules, payment requirements, and official procedures through qualified professionals or authoritative government sources.

Use at Your Own Risk

Taxstack is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

There is no guarantee that the software will always operate without interruption, calculation errors, data loss, compatibility problems, security vulnerabilities, export failures, or unexpected behavior.

You install, access, and use Taxstack voluntarily and at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Zachary Paul Hernandez and HXT Images are not responsible for losses or damages resulting from:

• Lost, corrupted, deleted, duplicated, or inaccessible records.

• Incorrect income or expense entries.

• Incorrect financial categories.

• Missing receipts or documentation.

• Clearing browser storage or application data.

• Device, browser, operating-system, or hardware failure.

• Compatibility issues following software or browser updates.

• Missed tax deadlines, payments, filings, deductions, credits, or reporting obligations.

• Penalties, interest, audits, disputes, or rejected tax filings.

• Documents imported from unknown or untrusted sources.

• Third-party services, websites, extensions, payment systems, or software.

• Unauthorized copies or modified versions of Taxstack.

• Use of the application in violation of applicable laws, regulations, contracts, or third-party rights.

You are responsible for maintaining backups, protecting your device, confirming the accuracy of your records, and determining whether Taxstack is appropriate for your intended use.

Record and Document Safety

Taxstack may allow users to enter financial information and import documents obtained from their own sources. Only enter or import records that you trust and have the legal right to use. HXT Images does not review, approve, verify, classify, audit, or certify user-generated financial records.

You are responsible for ensuring that your files and information:

• Come from a trusted source.

• Do not contain malicious or corrupted content.

• Were obtained and stored legally.

• Do not violate copyright, privacy, contractual, or intellectual-property rights.

• Are suitable for storage and viewing on your device.

• Accurately represent your financial activity.

• Are supported by original documentation when required.

• Are properly categorized before being used for tax preparation.

Taxstack does not verify whether an expense is deductible, whether income is taxable, or whether a document satisfies government recordkeeping requirements.

Protecting Sensitive Financial Information

Tax records may contain highly sensitive personal and financial information.

You are responsible for protecting your device and Taxstack records.

Recommended precautions include:

• Use a secure device password or biometric lock.

• Keep your browser and operating system updated.

• Avoid using Taxstack on public or shared devices.

• Do not store sensitive records in private or incognito browser sessions.

• Use trusted networks when downloading or updating the application.

• Maintain encrypted backups where appropriate.

• Review exported files before sharing them.

• Remove unnecessary personal information before sending records to another person.

• Confirm the identity of any accountant, preparer, attorney, or adviser receiving your records.

Local storage does not automatically mean that information is encrypted. Anyone with access to your unlocked device or browser profile may be able to access locally stored Taxstack information.

No Official Content Rating

Taxstack does not currently have an official public content or safety rating from organizations or marketplaces such as ESRB, PEGI, the Apple App Store, the Microsoft Store, or Google Play unless a rating is specifically displayed on an official Taxstack listing.

Taxstack is a general-purpose financial organization utility.

The information entered, imported, or displayed within the application depends entirely on the records provided by the user. HXT Images does not control user-generated financial information or imported documents.

Browser and Device Compatibility

Progressive Web App support, file importing, exporting, and local-storage behavior may differ between browsers, operating systems, and devices.

Features may behave differently following:

• Browser updates.

• Operating-system updates.

• Changes to Progressive Web App standards.

• Storage restrictions imposed by a device or browser.

• Changes to file-access or download permissions.

• Low-storage conditions.

• Private or incognito browsing sessions.

• Security software restrictions.

• Changes to spreadsheet, PDF, or file-format compatibility.

For the best experience, use a current version of a supported browser and keep your device’s operating system updated. Test all important import, export, calculation, and backup functions before relying on Taxstack for ongoing recordkeeping.

Before using Taxstack:

• Read the privacy and local-storage information.

• Understand how deleting browser data may affect your records.

• Back up original tax and financial documents.

• Confirm that your browser and device are supported.

• Download Taxstack only from an official HXT Images page or authorized distribution source.

• Do not install altered or repackaged copies from unknown websites.

• Test the application using non-critical sample information.

• Confirm that exported files open correctly.

• Do not continue with installation or use unless you understand and accept how Taxstack stores and manages local data.

Independent Software Notice

Taxstack is independently developed and maintained by Zachary Paul Hernandez under the HXT Images brand. Development may continue over time, but no specific feature, update, platform release, compatibility fix, support response, tax-year update, or maintenance period is guaranteed.

Community support and voluntary contributions may help fund:
